Fees and Insurance
Sessions & Rates
Insurance
50 Minute sessions: $160
80 Minute sessions: $240
110 Minute sessions: $320
There are no extra fees based on the number of people in the session. The same fee applies to individual, couples or family therapy.
EMDR sessions are more effective at 80 or 110 minutes. Sometimes longer sessions can work through concerns faster and shorten the overall length of therapy.
Intensive therapy sessions are also possible. Intensives are in half-day and full-day increments and are typically better suited for clients who are not local to Orlando or wish to work through their concerns at a quicker pace. If you wish to schedule a longer session, please discuss this option with me directly.
I believe that everyone deserves access to quality mental health care. Because of this belief, reduced rates are available on a limited basis. Please ask if this is something you need.
Payment is due at the time of service. Cash, check, and all major credit cards accepted.
Good Faith Estimates
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost
Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
-
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.
-
Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
-
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
-
Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 1-800-985-3059.
I am not an in-network provider on any insurance panels.
There are many benefits to paying out of pocket.
-
Your insurance company will not have access to your therapy records.
-
No diagnosis is required for payment.
-
Diagnoses given will not become part of your permanent medical record. Insurance companies may use diagnoses to influence future rates and eligibility.
-
Insurance companies would not dictate the number of sessions. You and I would decide the length and frequency of treatment.
-
You are not limited to only the therapists on your insurance panel. You can find the right fit for you.
Upon request, I am happy to provide you with a superbill, which you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. Reimbursement is not guaranteed, but often insurance companies will pay for some of the cost. Diagnoses and some treatment information will have to be given in this scenario. I encourage clients to contact their insurance provider and explore their out-of-network benefits.
Cancellation Policy & Fees
There is no fee for appointments canceled prior to 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time.
Clients are responsible for 50% of the session fee if the appointment is canceled without giving 24 hours notice.
If a client fails to show or cancel the appointment, the client is responsible for 100% of the session cost.
